We are planning a trip to Dunland (Brazil In) on Saturday the 5th of January. We have some new people and I want to be sure they are ready for a bigger battle.
Dunland has been around for a few years so they have experience under their belt and they are always great fun.
They expect more in the way of garb but they are willing to be lienient with new members, it is more fun to be wearing garb to a battle so get together what you can.
Hit hard...take light. So far we have had no problems with acknowledging our blows so this is just a reminder of the 'rule of thumb'.
I will bring what I can in the way of weapons, make what you can. Dunland has a lot of experience in weapons check so even if your first attempts don't pass (most peoples usually don't) you will learn alot.
It should be a lot of fun...these are friends and opponents...not enemies. Enjoy the competition and combat....enjoy the people and tall tails...its all good.

Forest Park in Brazil Indiana from 12 noon till 4:00 PM.
It is on the south side. I am no good with directions but the Gatereach Forums should be more helpful.

Yes come and visit, we always like to beat, er, uhm, I mean meet new folks. 
Just check our boards Saturday just to be sure practice isn't cancelled for some reason, but I think it is supposed to be warmer on the weekend.

I want to go fight tomarrow but I will decide based on the weather. If it is raining I will back out. I am not in the mood for a soaking and chest cold.

geh i hope you guys who went had fun. sadly work has been running me ragged. though i have the day off for today the 6th yaaaay! so hopefully i wont be stuck babysitting and can come bash and be bashed by all you hulking guys XD

Rowan,two of our new members (sorry I am terrible with names) and myself. It was fun as usual. The muddy field can be dangerous.
I left a bit early because the slipping gets mentaly and physicaly exhausting. I also reach a point in the slop where I just decide not to risk it anymore.
Still good fun with good people! We will go again, just let me know if you want to go as well and I will pick you up.
